How to get less recoil in PUBG – best sensitivity
In this article we will cover how to get less recoil in PUBG. PUBG is a few years old game, which still is in the top of online players charts. It’s immersive gameplay makes the experience really fun for many people. But one of the hardest aspects of the game is the recoil control. Most of the weapons have really high recoil and without any counter movement, the bullets might go well above the enemy. This might be really frustrating, especially for newer players who are not used to the recoil. Without getting proper control over the recoil, the game is no longer fun and it is hard to get any good results or wins. But don’t worry, below we listed our tips to make things better.
In-game settings
In PUBG, having the right settings can make a big difference in controlling recoil and improving accuracy. You can optimize your sensitivity, graphics settings or FOV. All of these can affect your accuracy in the game, so it is important to optimize it.
Sensitivity
The best sensitivity in PUBG is subjective and depends on personal preference and playstyle. Some players prefer a low sensitivity for more precise aiming, while others prefer a high sensitivity for quicker movements. You should experiment with different sensitivity settings. Try out different sensitivity settings and see how they affect your gameplay. This will give you a feel for what works best for you and what doesn’t. If you are having trouble aiming and hitting your shots, try lowering your sensitivity. If you are having trouble tracking fast-moving targets, try increasing your sensitivity. Remember to use a good mousepad. A large mousepad with a smooth surface can help you move your mouse more precisely and control your recoil more effectively.
Graphics settings
You should ensure that graphics settings are optimized for your PC. If your PC is old, change the settings to “Low” or “Medium” to reduce the amount of lag and stutter that can affect your aim. Additionally, you may need to turn off anti-aliasing, as this can cause a small amount of blurring that can make it harder to aim.
FOV
Increasing your in-game FOV settings can reduce perceived recoil. The screen movement for the same recoil will be less pronounced thus reducing the perceived recoil. Also higher FOV settings increases objects and enemies you see around yourself, which makes you fully aware of your surroundings. Please note that high FOV settings can decrease your FPS.
Attachments
Using good weapon attachments in PUBG is crucial, especially on weapons with high recoil. One of the best attachments for recoil reduction is the compensator. Put it on your weapon and the recoil will reduce. You should also put the right grip. Vertical grip will reduce vertical recoil, but an angled grip will reduce the horizontal recoil. These are the best two grips if you struggle with the recoil.
Low-recoil weapons
Good attachments may reduce the recoil, but if the weapon itself has a really high recoil, it still might be hard to control. That’s why, if you want to control the recoil and accuracy, you should look for weapons that are easy to control. These are: UMP45, M416, SCAR-L and AUG from the drop. Avoid Beryl, AKM or M249.
If you still struggle with these low recoil weapons, you can try to play mainly with single fire weapons. Such as DMRs, sniper rifles or shotguns, although assault riffles with full auto are the most universal weapons for short and medium range.
Practice or use No Recoil Macro
To be able to control the recoil perfectly, you will need to practice recoil control a lot. Either by playing and doing your best or hop in for some training at shooting range in training mode. It is time consuming, but you will eventually get some results. If you do not have time, a perfect solution is a PUBG no recoil macro. You can get a PUBG macro on our site for Logitech G, Razer, A4Tech X7, Bloody and Corsair mouse. This macro script will help you control the recoil, by using precise mouse movement to counteract the upward and horizontal movement. You can check videos of our other no recoil macros here.
Our macro is easy to use and it does not require any external software. You only need to import the script into your mouse software e.g. Logitech G HUB or Razer Synapse. Below is an example of how the macro helps with recoil control.
